Description

We have owned this caravan for about 6 years, we traded in an Olympus 546 as we wanted a separate shower/toilet area.

We have been an active member of the caravanning club and have taken this caravan all around the UK, and if you're a family that has young children, ie: need 3 fixed bunk beds, this is an ideal caravan saving time on bed set ups at the end of the day and giving the children their own space.

Bailey are well known for there alutech body shell, so no wood, no rot, and no damp.

Our children are now adults, so we're now thinking it's time to change the size of our caravan as we no longer need the 3 bunk beds, we definitely don't want to stop caravaning and this will be a sad sale of a well looked after caravan that has provided so many memories.

The caravan has the Alko ATC electronic traction control ( really reassuring in high winds), and about 18 months ago we had a brand new automatic motor mover fitted(1 press of the button and it connects to the wheels)

Bailey Caravans of Bristol - History and Overview

Bailey of Bristol is one of the UK's most respected and longest-established manufacturers of touring caravans and leisure vehicles. Founded in 1948, the company has built a strong reputation for producing high-quality, well-engineered caravans designed specifically for the needs of British caravanners.

The company began when Martin Bailey, an engineer from Bristol, built his first caravan in his garage and sold it locally. Demand quickly grew, and the business expanded into a full-scale manufacturing operation at South Liberty Lane in Bristol, where Bailey caravans are still produced today.

Over the decades Bailey has become one of the largest caravan manufacturers in the United Kingdom, introducing many popular and award-winning models. Well-known ranges include the Bailey Unicorn, Phoenix, Pegasus, Pageant and Senator, all recognised for their modern layouts, lightweight construction and practical design.

Bailey has also been a leader in innovation, introducing advanced construction methods such as Alu-Tech bodyshell technology, which improves strength, insulation and durability. In addition to touring caravans, the company now produces motorhomes and campervans, expanding its presence across the leisure vehicle market.

Today, with more than 75 years of manufacturing experience, Bailey of Bristol continues to be a trusted brand among UK caravanners, known for quality craftsmanship, thoughtful design and reliable performance.
