The All-New 2026 Elddis Crusader
Luxury. Craftsmanship. Distinction.
Meet the 2026 Crusader from Elddis — where touring becomes an elevated experience. Designed for those who expect more than the ordinary, the Crusader range fuses extraordinary specification with timeless style. It’s luxury crafted in every detail, built for comfort, presence and journeys that make memories.
The Crusader range makes a statement from the outside in. It features full-GRP Sunsation high-gloss sides that resist UV fading, streamlined front and rear panels, chrome grab handles, flush-fit front windows and elegant rear light clusters. The exterior is confidence personified.
Step inside and you’ll appreciate the thoughtful touches immediately. Grade III thermal insulation ensures comfort all year round while Alde 24-hour multi-programmable central and water heating (gas, electric, or both) gives you control over your environment via an easy-to-use LCD touchscreen, even with a night-time display option. Double-glazed “Aero Privacy” side windows, all with night-ventilation position, pleated blinds and flyscreens, give both light and privacy. A large Heki Lux Stargazer rooflight (with pleated blind & flyscreen) adds a flood of natural light and has integrated downlights for ambience.
Sleep well in well-designed beds: fixed beds use lightweight but supportive mattresses infused with Argentum⁺ anti-bacterial and anti-allergy fibres, and easy-lift gas struts for better access storage underneath. Retractable beds (in many models) free up living space by up to 400 mm in daylight hours. All bunks and beds have wide-opening beech slats for easy access. Ceiling height gives 6′5″ of headroom for a sense of space.
Living space is generous, stylish and full of practical elegance. Hand-crafted cabinetry with dove-tailed drawers, quietly closing lockers, contrasting worktops in granite effect finishes, and modern soft furnishings make every surface a pleasure to use. LED lighting throughout, under-cupboard ambience, quality sockets, quiet reading lights, and seat bases with front access for bulky storage all elevate the “home” feel.
Features built for peace of mind: AL-KO chassis with stabiliser, heavy-duty corner steadies; wheel locks; an alarm plus Thatcham Category 7-approved tracker; high security external locks; smoke and carbon monoxide alarms. Practical systems such as the ALDE load monitor (to manage site electrical limits), a substantial onboard water tank and under-body protection (GRP underskin), plus fully bonded roof construction, all reinforce the feeling that this caravan is built to last.
The Crusader range offers a selection of 2- and 6-berth layouts, in single-axle and twin-axle versions, all seven foot four to eight feet wide for uncompromising space. Whether you choose a layout with a fixed island bed, bunk pods, rear bedrooms or French-transverse beds, the Crusader’s design always centres around comfort, clever space use and lasting style.

Based in Consett, County Durham, Elddis has been producing touring caravans since 1964 and is widely known for its innovation, strong build quality and practical caravan layouts designed for UK caravanners.
The company was founded by Siddle Cook, who built the first Elddis caravan in a small workshop in County Durham. As caravanning grew in popularity during the 1960s and 1970s, Elddis quickly expanded production and became one of the major manufacturers in the British caravan industry.
Today Elddis forms part of the Erwin Hymer Group, one of the largest leisure-vehicle groups in Europe. Under this ownership the company continues to manufacture touring caravans and motorhomes at its factory in Consett, where thousands of vehicles are produced each year.
